Terms of stay

Booking

Rooms shown on this site reflect what was free when the page was last built, and the free-bed count updates through the day. Availability is confirmed only when the hostel manager confirms it. A bed is held once the deposit is paid.

Rent and billing

Rent is monthly and due at the start of each month. Meals, air conditioning and any one-off charges are itemised separately on your bill, so you can see what each amount is for. Paying part of a bill is accepted; the remainder carries forward.

Air-conditioned rooms are metered. The units a room uses are shared between the people in it, weighted by the days each person was actually there, so somebody who moves in mid-month pays only for those days.

Security deposit

A refundable deposit of Rs 8,000 is held for the duration of your stay and returned at checkout, less anything still owed or any damage beyond normal wear.

Leaving

Please give 30 days notice before you leave, so the bed can be re-let. Tell the manager your intended date and it is recorded. Shorter notice is accepted but may be settled against your deposit.

House rules

Hostels are shared homes. Keep noise down at night, keep shared spaces clean, and treat the staff and other residents with respect. Guests are by prior arrangement with the manager. Anything illegal, or behaviour that makes the hostel unsafe for others, ends the stay.

Belongings

We provide a guarded entrance, CCTV in shared areas, and a cupboard in each room, but we cannot insure personal belongings. Keep valuables locked away.
